A capable agent responsible for acting against infection, either by inhibiting the spread of an infectious agent or further by killing the infectious agent straight through.

These agents, which are well-known as anti-infective, these are those specific types of remedies or antidotes that help in the recovery of the infection. Most frequently these disorders are caused by microscopic organisms such as bacteria, parasites, fungi and viruses. The different genres of infections that these pathogens can provoke are extremely diverse. Minor infections, covers the athlete’s foot, warts and cold sores, however more serious infections encompasses  AIDS, gangrene and pneumonia which eventually lead to darken up a life or probable death.

A bacterium majorly leads to the cause of skin and respiratory infections. The International Trachoma Initiative (ITI) was founded in the early 90’s. Trachoma is the leading cause of preventable blindness in many developing countries and various organizations are showing magnanimity in donating anticancer drugs to recover this infection.

Lately, many different organizations has set in motion new anticancer drugs which are being utilized in serious skin infections and pneumonia including those caused by Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).These organizations are positively continuing their commitment of developing medicines to punch-up the emerging and existing ailments and in the near future will have much more advanced and effected medicines cum antidotes for both bacterial and fungal diseases and also for the cure of HIV.
